The Rex Hall CIC offer of services for education

On 1 April 2011, Rex Hall Associates (RHA) became Rex Hall Community Interest Company (RHCIC) with all profits benefiting The For Success Foundation.

RHA successfully managed a significant government contract for the national ‘Playing for Success’ initiative of 162 inspirational learning centres in high profile sports clubs in partnership with The Premier League, The Football League Trust, The Wooden Spoon, Premiership Rugby, Rugby Football League, England and Wales Cricket Board, other sports and local authorities and their schools.  PfS has contributed to raising educational standards through voluntary learning activities which use the medium and environment of the venue to support underachieving children in Years 5 to 9 to develop literacy, numeracy and ICT skills. It has a focus on improving their attitudes and motivation to learn. RHA has promoted the extension of the PfS initiative internationally and centres have been established in football and other sporting venues in countries including Holland, Belgium and Japan.

Success has led to significant expansion into the Arts, Retail, Heritage, Culture and Science, through ‘Associate Centre’ development. 

RHCIC and its wider team of ‘For Success’ learning centre managers, has particular expertise in the development and quality assurance of the range of Extended Learning Opportunities (Extra-curricular activities) that children and young people voluntarily participate in. The team includes three of the four writers of the current DfE self-evaluation framework ‘Extending Learning Opportunities’.

RHCIC’s work is underpinned by a passionate belief that all young people should have the opportunity to be inspired in their learning to maximise their potential and that this can be achieved through the provision of:
